Introduction
Nepal Police Hospital School of Health Sciences (NPHSH), situated in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, was established in 11th Poush 2079 BS. Under the welfare fund of Nepal Police Hospital, this institution offers the Proficiency certificate level (PCL) in Nursing Program (Staff Nurse) at present. Affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the school provides the excellent educational opportunities for aspiring nurses in greenery environment.
One distinctive feature of this institution is its commitment to supporting the children of police personnel, retired police personal and immortal / martyrs of police. As a result, both quota and scholarships (full and partial) are designed for them to pursue their education in Nursing. Additionally, the institution also reserves a quota for the general public, providing opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to enter the nursing profession.

Under the vision and mission, NPHSHS is ready to prepare professional nurses, capable of functioning independently or as responsible and accountable members of the multi-disciplinary health team in providing preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative care to the clients in hospital and community settings by making independent judgment in respect of nursing decisions.
